Search continues for submerged evidence of early Americans

(Mercyhurst College) The fourth installment of a National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)-funded archaeological expedition -- Exploring the Submerged New World 2012 -- commences July 20 for nine days in the Gulf of Mexico off Florida's west coast. Chief scientists on the signature expedition are Dr. James M. Adovasio and Dr. C. Andrew Hemmings of Mercyhurst University.
