Perdigões 2014, After two days

The excavation season started yesterday. With a short team in the first week, we focused on pit 40, the one with the human cremated remains (over some anatomical connections). After cleaning, we continued the excavation of the pit and, apart from hundreds of cremated bones, the usual archaeological materials announced themselves: more anthropomorphic idols. The recent paper published about these figurines in Perdigões is already outdated (in terms of numbers, naturally). perdigoes2011.blogspot.com.es/
